Sonja Josephson is a Kripalu certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor. She is the founder of Seasons of Life Ayurveda. In her work, she incorporates her knowledge of Western herbalism with the framework of Ayurveda. She comes from a background of teaching Yin Yoga and guided meditation on Martha’s Vineyard, MA.

Sonja came across Ayurveda through her personal yoga practice in her early twenties, and decided to dive into her studies, as it deeply resonated with her.

“Studying the wisdom of Ayurveda exposed me to a way of seeing the world that actually made sense to me. As an elemental science, Ayurveda brings to light the undeniable connection between all matter. The qualities of the Bhutas, the elements (ether, air, fire, water, and earth) are not only all around us, but also within us. We are a part of the cosmic creation and by learning from the forces of nature, we can learn to support the forces within our bodies and minds in order to maintain or recover a state of balance.”

Sonja specializes in offering individual Ayurvedic consultations and group workshops. Her offerings aim to uncover the innate wisdom and intuition of her clients.
